Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Marcelin Studios' photography services and website. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Marcelin Studios is operated by Janet Diaz, a professional photographer based in Greenville, South Carolina.

Photography Services

Service Description

Marcelin Studios provides professional photography services including but not limited to:

• Family portraits and sessions
• Wedding photography
• Engagement sessions
• Maternity photography
• Newborn photography
• Portrait sessions
• Event photography

Booking and Payment

All photography sessions require a deposit to secure your booking date and time. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your session. We accept cash, check, and credit card payments.

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled session to receive a refund of your deposit. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Session Policies

Weather and Rescheduling

Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to inclement weather. We will work with you to find an alternative date that works for both parties. Indoor sessions are not affected by weather conditions.

Session Duration

Session duration varies by package type. Please arrive on time for your session. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session time to accommodate other bookings.

Client Cooperation

We ask that all clients cooperate during sessions to ensure the best possible results. This includes following our guidance on posing, location, and timing. For sessions involving children, we ask that parents help maintain a positive and cooperative atmosphere.

Image Delivery and Usage

Delivery Timeline

Edited images are typically delivered within 2-3 weeks of your session date. Wedding galleries may take 4-6 weeks for full delivery. Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.

Image Rights and Usage

Marcelin Studios retains copyright to all images created during your session. You receive a personal use license for the images you purchase. This license allows you to:

• Print images for personal use
• Share images on social media
• Use images for personal projects
• Display images in your home or office

Commercial use of images requires written permission and may incur additional fees.

Model Release

By booking our services, you grant Marcelin Studios permission to use your images for marketing purposes, including but not limited to our website, social media, and promotional materials. You may opt out of this permission by providing written notice.

Product Orders and Returns

Print and Product Orders

All print and product orders are final once placed. We work with professional printing labs to ensure the highest quality products. Please review your order carefully before submission.

Returns and Refunds

Due to the custom nature of photography services, we do not offer refunds for completed sessions. If you are dissatisfied with your images, we will work with you to address any concerns and may offer a reshoot at our discretion.

Limitation of Liability

Marcelin Studios' liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services.

While we strive to capture beautiful images at every session, we cannot guarantee specific results due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, lighting conditions, and client cooperation.

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or inhibit their use of the website.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images, text, and design elements, is the property of Marcelin Studios and is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

Changes to Terms
